Hi I'm Madeline Penzel, I'm a 21 year old artist currently studying at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where I study Fiber and Material Studies. My practice is focused in quilts, embroidery, beading, screen printing and fabric dye techniques. In my practice I explore my own identity, sense of self and themes of childhood, memories and home with whimsical elements like doodles of stars and flowers.
